V Stained Concrete was founded September of 2005. Jed Vowers the owner grew up in Nebraska and has been in the construction field most of his life. Growing up as the son of a farmer, he wanted to explore on his own. He attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney and graduated with a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice in 1998. While going to college, Jed worked for a local concrete contractor Reidy Construction and Concrete. Jed moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1999. He rented and sold construction equipment for 6 years. He had a desire to start his own business. He decided he had to go into something he had a passion for and what else would that be, but concrete. He now owns a very successful decorative concrete business. Jed is very meticulous with his work and wants to make every customer as happy as he possibly can. His motto is, "if they are not happy," he is not happy.
